Looking over my portfolio representation on this site I realised that the Woman Project, being the sprawling, vast work that it is is missing so many sets here that I should really start compiling the best of each shoot, no matter how old, for the series here. I mean the phrase “for posterity” is a massive over reach and kind of aggrandising myself up over reasonable limits. But then again why the fuck not!!!
So we shot this set of the very graceful Alexandra on the 25.07.2017 in the sitting room of our apartment. The idea was to do a much more comprehensive shoot at a later date. This shoot was kind of a getting to know you thing. Unfortunately this never happened. Alexandra is a pole dancer and very busy, and I have never really had the full resources to support this project fully. She is a friend of sorts now, but at best we chat occasionally on social media. I hope, and she is more than willing, to finally get around to doing the follow up shoot. It is well over eight years since we did this one, so fingers crossed…
You can see her at work on her Instagram page.
Shot on a Nikon D750, Nikkor 50mm ƒ/1.4 at ISO 100.
