In working on the Frontier Project I started making leather props for my western shoots. This gave me so much pleasure I became deeply curious about the techniques and engineering and design of authentic, usable leather craft. In view of this I got some basic leather working tools and some real holster grade raw hide and began testing my design ideas on the real thing. Here is a collection of some of my first finished designs.
