I have been working on my leather craft for a while now. And though making holsters was a challenge it really didn’t scare me as much as making the belts did. My ambition at the start was to create a set of classic Western Style leather gear, following what is known as the “Rustic” treatment of leather.

The belt making though is something that is in some ways the most difficult, because making a belt means being very accurate in your measurements and since it is something that needs to fit individual waist and hip sizes and every one has a different style of wearing gun belts, it is a real challenge to make something you can sell. Finally this year I got over my apprehension and made my first two gun rig belts to accompany my various holster designs. Here are the results. I have to say I am pretty proud of how they worked out.
